The Silent Tear

Psalm 139:13-18 NKJV — For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.

Conviction. Do we have that anymore? Minute by minute, day after day, we carry on as if we could care less about the condition of the world just as long as it doesn’t invade the bubble we’re in. “Stay in your lane, bro.” That’s all you ever hear. “What ‘Big Brother’ does is no concern to you. It’s for the good of the people and life will be more enjoyable for you if you just obey our rules. God? What God? He has no clue, only we, the “Elite Us Ignoramuses” are the only ones who are enlightened and God has no place in our ‘’New World Order!’ Our way is the only way!”

If this is really true then we have really lost our way. Truth and righteousness is wrong — violence, mayhem and murder are the standards of the day. Laws are being proposed and most likely will be passed where the defenseless and children will not be protected, including the unborn, who suffer and cry in silence. Isaiah 5:20 NKJV — Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

The headlines read: “Most Americans don’t want a standing ovation for abortions until birth. But Democrats do.” Most of us are aware that legalized abortion has been the law in the United States since 1972 but the arguments that were raised during the Supreme Court case of Roe vs. Wade have been thrown out of the window. What was argued is that only trained and authorized physicians in authorized facilities should and only could perform an abortion, mainly, for the health and welfare of the pregnant patient.

In January 2019, the New York State Legislature passed a law that brought a surprising response. A standing ovation for abortion? That’s what New York’s Reproductive Health Act got in the Senate chamber when it passed. Lawmakers and bystanders stood and applauded a law that legalizes abortion all the way up until birth, for any reason.

The left and many democrats may be celebrating the bill’s passage, but it is wildly out of step with American sentiment on the issue. American support for late-term abortion continues to decline; one poll last year found that a mere 13% of Americans support abortion all the way into the third trimester and most Americans don’t think abortion is something to celebrate, or “shout” to borrow from the pro-choice lobby’s public relations campaign. A majority of Americans, in fact, say abortion is immoral.  Many Americans around the country were visibly upset seeing Democrats vigorously applauding for abortions of 7 pound babies and babies after the mother has given birth. Disturbing images of the lighting up One World Trade Center pink after the bill was signed into law made many to believe that somehow we have crossed the line and lost our humanity.

Psalm 126:5 NKJV — Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.

What is to be said for the ones that cannot defend themselves? Must they always suffer because of the disobedience of their elders? God instructed us from the very beginning;

Genesis 1:27-28 NKJV — So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Nowhere in the Holy Scriptures did He say” “If the population gets too great, then abort the unborn.” We have traditionally been taught that God is the giver and taker of life so, who are we to decide who lives and who doesn’t? Millions of unborn children have been aborted since Roe vs. Wade and still the debate goes on if it is right or wrong. What the state of New York has passed borderlines on being gruesome and inhumane. This law harkens back to World War II and Nazi Germany. So desperate to have the perfect race the SS and the Gestapo, under Adolf Hitler’s orders, impregnated German women to produce males for the Aryan race. If females were produced, then, they were ordered to “exterminate” the baby and execute the woman. Fortunately, the Nazis did not prevail in their conquest of the world but there are many that carry on their beliefs.

The cries and the tears of the unborn fall in silence but God hears their plea and a place will always be available for these beautiful young souls.

The action taken by the state of New York will most likely wind up before the Supreme Court of the United States and the lawyers and the left will find a compromise that in the end will not satisfy anyone.

May God comfort those who weep in silence.

Jesus Welcomes the Little Children.

Matthew 19:13-14 NKJV — Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
