Psalm 82:5 NKJV — They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable.

“In God We Trust” – A motto we find displayed on our country’s currency and in some of our country’s courtrooms we can find the motto displayed. As a country and as a people we claim that we trust God but do we really? We just can’t find anyone who is willing to tell us the truth. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV — For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Every day we are being told a different kind of truth. At every turn there’s a reason for this or a reason for that. In this digital age, with so much data being fed in, it’s hard to verify any story being told to us and yet, we want to believe. The source of most of the information we receive is the media and the evening news. For decades we have received our news through the newspaper, magazines, the radio, telegraphs and television. In the new millennium the sources have grown and now include the internet, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and other sites that make up the social media world. With all these resources is the truth being left out of the daily briefing? 1 Timothy 1:8-10 NKJV — But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,

We have witnessed laws being broken on nationwide TV, our congressional leaders accused and accusing others of inappropriate behavior and carrying on with their daily affairs as if their actions were normal. Immigration problems on our southern border screams of a crisis but congress and the political elite tell us that the crisis is manufactured and a delusion made up by the President.

Exodus 23:1-2 NKJV — “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. “You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.

On the behest of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic party and the executives along with their news directors at CNN, MSNBC and the major networks of ABC, CBS and NBC decided to campaign a narrative of accusing President Donald J. Trump of collusion with Russia all because the American people voted their conscience and a change of the fate of their beloved country.

For almost 3 years independent counsel Bob Mueller investigated and in the end found no evidence of collusion and no decision on obstruction of justice. The narrative of treasonous behavior by the Trump administration was proven to be a lie. A lie that unfolded in front of the public and left Clinton, the Democrats and the media with egg on their face.

Did they learn anything about being exposed for being liars? The answer is – No. Members of Congress, including Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff still claim wrongdoing by Trump but the truth of the matter is there is nothing there.

Luke 8:17 NKJV — “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

We are reminded that there is nothing hidden from God. Spreading lies and false narratives and insisting that it is the truth can border on signs of schizophrenia and the mainstream media have had no good explanation for being exposed as untruthful. The question being raised is, if the world is so quick to believe any news story or information supplied by the networks and social media without verification, then, how easy would it be to believe a charismatic person who says all the right things, who seems to have the right formula for peace and prosperity and following him will lead you to the utopia you’ve always dreamed of? Unfortunately it’ll be too easy. Jesus, the apostle Paul, John the revelator and the prophets Isaiah, Daniel and Ezekiel all prophesied that this person will come, this person will be the Antichrist.

Revelation 20:11-15 NKJV — Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

We all will stand before God to answer for ourselves. The media and those who control the TV and the internet will also be held accountable for their actions and there will be no twisting out of trouble. Judgement will come to all. Don’t give in to the propaganda without investigating the source and verifying the facts. If you’re looking for truth then it’s easy to find. The Word of God is truth and has been with us for centuries. Read and learn about God and His character, the love He has for you and the world. How God so loved the world the He gave His only begotten Son to be the true Saviour of the world. The green new deal, running out of avocados and toxic masculinity as another cause for climate change are even more rants the left, the Democrats, the Republicans and the media are ramping up hoping they can regain the public trust. Check and verify is really the only good advice that can be given. Jesus is truth and accepting and following Him will give you everlasting life. Ask Jesus into your life and have your name placed in the Book of Life.
