Voices In The Dark

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NKJV — The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The line between the truth and a lie has become very blurred. Since the turn of the century we, as a society, are concerned with what we perceive and what we believe. We choose and put our faith in groups and alliances that make us feel comfortable but are we being told the truth? Most likely we are not. The latest fable we have been told is that socialism is the greatest government system in the world. Maybe these believers should ask the country of Venezuela.

If history has taught us anything then it would be that fascism, communism, dictatorships and socialism have all had their time and all have failed. Capitalism is now in danger if the “Voices in the Dark” have their way. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Beto O’Rourke and we must not forget Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, are all proponents for the socialist takeover of the U.S. Government.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV — For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Will the people of Venezuela ever regain control of their country? 20 years ago Venezuela had a thriving economy with oil being the biggest export measuring in the billions of dollars. Despite the prosperity socialist activist took control with false promises of spreading the wealth with free healthcare, food services and education but when the changes came the government gathered all the benefits and left the people of Venezuela hopeless. Citizens of the South American country have taken to the streets in protest and with the hope of overthrowing the leadership that are in power. U.S. officials say they are observing but are reluctant to say if the U.S. will intervene.

The left which includes the media, the Democrats and mainly anyone who does not agree with a Godly life and Godly values want you to believe that their values are the values you should follow and now they are using the recent testimony of Attorney General William Barr as a distraction from the violence in Venezuela. Name calling and a bucket of chicken make great fodder for the news media but it only shows the childish behavior the left will demonstrate to get the public on their side.

Who else is involved with the “Voices in the Dark?” Rep. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar is also a voice that speaks loudly against U.S. policies, Israel and blames the U.S. for the problems in Venezuela. She is a devout muslim and believes that the United States should incorporate Sharia Law, in other words, turn the U.S. into a muslim country. Once again, a religion that does not recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah, is trying hard for us to forget the destruction Islam has caused including 9/11. Maybe Rep. Omar should rethink Sharia Law as the law of the land? If it were the law, she would be out of a job because Sharia Law does not allow women to serve in government and are not allowed to vote.

Luke 12:2-3 NKJV — “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. “Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

False doctrines and promises are not a wise practice when governing a country. Who, in the end, pays the price for policies and special interests that are not well planned out? Venezuela was on its way to becoming a very prosperous, powerful nation and finally losing the “banana republic” reputation but now things are worse, all because they put their trust in a system that is built for failure. The trust that we, as well as the world, should put in is God. Through His only begotten son Jesus Christ we can have everlasting life and peace. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 not to let anyone deceive us because many will come and say that they have the answer for all of our problems but what they want is power and to rule over you with laws and regulations that will take away your freedom.

We’ve seen the result of deception and must pray that the leaders of our country take heed to the pictures that show the inhumanity in Venezuela and stay away from foolishness and put the needs of the people first. To silence these “Voices in the Dark” we must stand firm on the Word of God and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them to the solutions that will benefit and draw us closer to the Lord. Pray for the nation of Venezuela.

Luke 12:29-31 NKJV — “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. “For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.
