The images are unimaginable but they are also a sobering reminder of how powerless we are against the power of nature. A catastrophic blow was given to the people and the islands of the Bahamas. Hurricane Dorian made landfall on the northern Bahama islands as a category 5 storm on September 1, 2019. The weather storm system was the strongest in more than 80 years, according to the National Hurricane Center. The unusable aspect of the storm was that Dorian decided to make a 48 hour stop on the islands before moving on to the east coast of Florida and the southeastern coast of the United States. It had sustained winds of up to 185 mph. At least 50 people in the Bahamas were killed and officials fear the number could be larger.

As Hurricane Dorian tracked its way north hugging the coastlines of the Carolinas many globalists began to theorize reasons why this particular hurricane was so strong and once again they connected the cause of the storm to climate change due to global warming. Surprisingly, there were some who didn’t make that connection and because of this disconnect, many are questioning the so called “science” of climate change.

According to a study by watchdog Media Matters For America, only CBS aired a segment tying climate change to hurricane activity like Dorian’s. NBC and ABC aired no such programs. Like the boy who cried “wolf,” maybe the cry is starting to fall on deaf ears. The theory of climate change is based on unverifiable science and with people like Bill Nuy the Science Guy leading the way It’s becoming more like an idea for a comedy of errors. It still didn’t stop a major cable network inviting the Democrat presidential candidates to a climate change town hall.

CNN’s presentation turned into a political agenda push of radical left-wing policies, a disregard of the facts and the truth and at the end of the town hall, the candidates could not resist the temptation of blaming the White House and the current administration of contributing to the climate crisis.

Plastic straws are fast becoming one of the most hated inanimate objects in popular culture. Why is this happening? Many proponents of climate change claim that plastic straws are a major contributor to the damage of the Earth’s environment. The candidates presented their theory but failed to mention that while around 8 million metric tons of plastic trash end up in our oceans every year, only 4-7% of pollution are plastic straws. Despite facts like this one the presidential candidates insist that they have proof of the damage the straws cause and will be the watchdogs of countries and corporations who produce plastic straws and implement laws and fines to administer for environmental violations. The credibility of the candidates comes into question when visual evidence is presented that the candidates don’t practice what they preach.

Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg (D), was pictured using a plastic straw at the Iowa State Fair during a campaign stop. Clearly showing that the policies they propose don’t apply to them. Other theories were given for the so called climate crisis and though most of them were glazed over with conjecture and speculation, no valid solutions were given. One candidate did raise some criticism and concern.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), one of the leading candidates for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, sparked outrage for linking abortion to population control during the CNN town hall event. Senator Sanders said he would support taxpayer-funded programs to provide abortions and birth control for women in developing countries as a measure to combat the climate crisis.
“Human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth. I realize this is a poisonous topic for politicians, but it’s crucial to face,” a member of the audience asked the Vermont senator, “Empowering women and educating everyone on the need to curb population growth seems a reasonable campaign to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?”

“The answer is yes,” Sanders replied. “And the answer has everything to do with the fact that women in the United States of America, by the way, have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions and the Mexico City agreement, which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control to me is totally absurd,” he continued. ” So I think especially in poor countries around the world where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have, is something I very, very strongly support.”
Pro-life supporters have called Sander’s response “horrifying.” Talking about needing “population control” through ABORTION for the sake of CLIMATE is talking about EUGENICS. It’s becoming very clear that the agenda of the left, liberals, democrats, unrighteous and ultimately the ungodly are proposing a world for only the elite and if they are successful then God is no longer needed in the utopia they have created. We must pray that the deception is revealed and that the truth, peace and justice that Jesus provides will cover us like an umbrella does when the rain begins to fall.
Matthew 16:1-4 NKJV — Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; “and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.
Surely mankind’s actions are partially to blame for some of the planet’s problems but since the expulsion from Eden when Adam and Eve fell, God told His creation that life would not be easy. We must not forget the victims of Hurricane Dorian and pray for relief and a speedy recovery. Plastic straws and too many hamburgers are not causing the calamities we are experiencing around the world but they are the signs of the times that Jesus told us we would see in these latter days.
