2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 NKJV — For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
An empty docket. What would a judge do if there were no cases to hear and no alleged crimes to judge? Bailiffs and court reporters would be out of a job. Silence would be the sound of the gavel. Lawlessness and chaos are being encouraged by the so called “lawmakers” of our society. We turn on the TV and we see Joy Behar, Don Lemon and Rachel Maddow tell us that law enforcement officers are racist and homophobic, secure borders are not necessary and living for God is considered a sign of mental illness.

Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised about the commentary we hear from talk show hosts and opinionated show hosts on television and the internet but what about our elected government officials? Kamala Harris, Ilhan Omar and Maxine Waters all speak about how unjust the legal system of the United States has become yet, they support physical violence towards people who disagree with their values and policies.
2 Corinthians 6:14 NKJV — Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
Pastors, counselors and parents like to use this scripture as an example of Godly advice for people looking for a lifelong mate or are in pre-marriage counseling. Very helpful for couples but we must also realize that the Apostle Paul is referring to the society of the day and of the days we are in. We as followers of Christ should seek out righteousness and fellowship with other believers of Jesus because it assures us a consistent value of a good quality of life. Just because we have to work, go to school and deal with people, who may not have the same beliefs as you, on a daily basis, does not mean we have to involve ourselves in the unrighteous behavior they display. Breaking the law or even God’s law is not the answer. Defiance is the influence being peddled in the world, especially here in the United States. Encouraged by those who took an oath to uphold the law.

Apparently Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has forgotten or just decided to disregard the oath she took when she became a member of congress. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted her support for a violent protest that advocated attacking NYPD officers. More than 1,000 protesters filled the streets chanting “no justice, no peace” in response to videos that showed the New York Police Department (NYPD) officers fighting with teens and making arrests inside subway stations. The protesters also objected to a planned police crackdown on fare evaders. Numerous people held up signs that called NYPD “racist” and advocated violence against police.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, the controversial Democratic Socialist congresswoman from Brooklyn, who has said she wants to do away with the prison system entirely, chose to weigh in on the side of the protesters, which didn’t come as a surprise to anyone. “Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted the day after the chaotic scene. “Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community. New Yorkers know that they’re not having it, and they’re standing up for each other.” – Fanning the flames of disobedience with uninformed, biased information is the m.o. (method of operation) the lawless, rebellious and unrighteous leaders do. What exactly are they leading us to?

Many Bible scholars are saying that we are close to the point of no return but we may have already past it. We are being told that conservative values are outdated, ignorant and racist. The atmosphere of hatred for a life with rules has taken root in our society. Encouraging lawlessness is just one example of a way of life the left want us to live. There are politicians that want to change the government system we have had for 243 years into a system that gives the government complete power and control over our lives and civil liberties.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
Presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who can’t seem to get her story straight, has made her campaign a war against billionaires and capitalism. The belief in worldwide socialism and plans for the United Nations to have military control over the most powerful nations of the world is a major factor for the chaos we are witnessing around the world. What Warren, Ocasio-Cortez and their fellow globalists don’t realize is that they are playing right into the hands of a one world government and the arrival of the lawless one, the one who is the Antichrist. The Word of God is very clear about the fate of those who fall for this deception.
The Lawless One
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NKJV — The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Why is there so much anger? What is the reason for the defiance of laws and standards that has served us so well? We must remember how and why the United States and the “new” world were founded. Freedom from tyranny and freedom to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Not slavery as Beto O’Rourke, Cory Booker and the Antifa mob claim. The U.S. was founded with Godly values and principles and that’s why the anger exist. They do not want God to be the reason for our existence. Allah, Budda, Krishna and Mohammed are acceptable but not Jesus, the Son of God. Satan and his “influencers” want chaos and mayhem to run rapid in the world so that when the beast appears on the world stage he will introduce a false peace in the form of treaties and agreements but it will be a trap to the ones who fall for it. The beast will claim to have all the answers and being of divine providence.
Matthew 24:21-24 NKJV — “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Many will fall and spend eternity in a place that was never meant for them. We must beware of people who are willing to “throw you under the bus” just to get the power they crave. They do not realize the fate that awaits them. There is hope as long as we put our faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ and pray for wisdom and guidance through these troubled times.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 NKJV — But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
