“Am I Alone?”

John 1:1-5 NKJV — In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Why is it so hard for people to believe that God is real and that He is with us always. He created a beautiful planet for us to live in and despite all of mankind’s faults and disobedience He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten son so that if we believe in Him we would have everlasting life. Yet, God is banned from our schools, frowned upon if you live by His principles and if you’re brave enough to admit that Jesus talks to you then you’re accused of being crazy and suffer from mental illness.

It’s really not that hard to imagine that the world, or in this case, unbelievers would make that assumption but what if that assumption was made by other Christians? There are many so-called Christians that doubt that God even speaks to us and that His Holy Word is irrelevant.

We are being told that living for righteousness, Godly principles, law and order will lead us to the gates of Hell. A Southern Baptist preacher from Dallas, Texas had implied this conclusion in a speech he made for.the Democratic National Convention. Lawlessness is being praised and glorified in our society. They say that God is testing us and this is why we are experiencing the turmoil in our world today. Can that really be true? Is this the work of God?

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 NKJV — For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Riots and mayhem is all the media shows while calling these actions peaceful. Churches are being ordered to shut down because there is no use praying to God, they also say that He doesn’t exist. Our faith is being tested in the most severe way. Some ministries have abandoned their calling and hidden away relying on their own understanding without seeking the Lord for guidance. They tap on the computer or on their cell phones looking for something or someone to rescue them and take their burden away. Not taking authority, in the name of Jesus, over the fear that is reeking havoc over our lives has made us feel that God has forsaken us. This is what Satan wants you to believe.

Are more attacks on Christianity on the horizon? The answer many are giving would seem to imply so. “It’s up to us to find our way. We control our own destiny. God abandoned us long ago, He no longer speaks to us” but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

John 14:15-18 NKJV — “If you love Me, keep My commandments. “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

God is talking to us everyday. We just have to take the time to stop, read the bible and pray with an open heart and prepare ourselves to receive His divine instruction and wisdom. We must put our faith into action and trust that the Lord is there to help us.

God speaks to His people through His Holy Word and promises, as He did in the book of John, that He will never leave us. Being a believer and follower of Christ is not a sign of mental illness, it is a sign of courage and confidence in knowing that we have victory in Jesus. Don’t let anyone tell you that God is not real. Look around you, someone created the sky, sun and the stars. God created it all and He created you and His love for you is never ending.

TheLord is with You

Jesus is our and most importantly your Lord and Saviour. Through Him all things are possible. These latter days that we are living through can be victorious if we only put our trust and belief in Him for He truly loves you and He gave His life on the cross at Calvary so that we may be redeemed and have everlasting life by the grace of His salvation. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are always there for you and they are in control.

Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV — And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
