Matthew 24:11-13 NKJV — “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
It was a surprise beginning to the fight of the century. The unexpected first round knockdown of the World Champ shocked everyone including the two prize fighters. The Champ, the “Master of Disaster” against the challenger, the people’s “Gladiator of Hope.” Two fighters locked into a battle and determined to prove that they were worthy of being the “Champion of the People.”
It was a fast start that became a brutal fight. The Challenger standing his ground, absorbing every punch the champ threw at him. The Champ showboating between rounds and taunting the Challenger at every turn. “You’re going down Flakelator!” screamed the Champ. “Yeah, bring it powder cake,” responded the Challenger. This fight was going to end bitterly for one of them. Going the distance was the only thing in question. Fans, ticket holders and the viewing audience glued to the action in the ring to see what happens next.
Matthew 23:27-28 NKJV — “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. “Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Washington D.C. has become the “ring” of a new heavyweight fight between two parties who believe they are the champions of the people. Many skeptics would say that their actions would say otherwise. Since election night 2016 there has been a battle between the elite globalist and people who still believe it’s ok to be an individual. Two (2) government shutdowns in 18 months, accusations of collusion with Russia, vacations taken on the taxpayer’s dime, Democrats hobnobbing with lobbyists in Puerto Rico while the island is still struggling to recover from hurricane Maria and talks of impeachment of a man that was duly elected by the people. Plot lines that could rival the best soap opera or telenovela on the air today.
Many Christian leaders such as John Kilpatrick, Rodney Howard Browne and John Hagee believe that the fight we are witnessing is a prelude to the door opening to a one world government and the reign of the Antichrist.
1 Timothy 6:9-10 NKJV — But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Power is money and money is power and the lack of money is the reason behind the “ego” battle raging in Washington D.C. – Tax breaks, a booming economy, low unemployment and the reemergence of American ingenuity are the enemy of the “New World Order” and plans to derail the sovereignty of the United States is going into “all out attack” mode. The fight against the coming tribulation will be difficult if God’s people decide not to do a thing. If we do not pray and seek the Lord’s guidance and wisdom to delay what could be the inevitable then the time that Jesus predicted will arrive sooner than we want;
Matthew 24:21-22 NKJV — “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
The fight in D.C. is entertaining if not disturbing. As we watch the political version of “Caddyshack” we can only hope and pray that God will intervene on our behalf and give the leaders of the U.S. the wisdom to find a way to work together and for the interest of the people instead of their own political ambitions.
Oh, in case you were interested, the fight between the “Flakelator” and the “powder cake” was a fight that went the distance. It was a finish worthy of a “Rocky” film. No clear winner but a re-match is in the works.
Luke 21:36 NKJV — “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
