Genesis 2:8-9 NKJV — The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
·
Genesis 2:15-17 NKJV — Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

The Pali Lookout – Oahu, Hawaii
·
It was a breathtaking view. Looking out over the Nuʻuanu Valley with the Pacific ocean in the distance on the island of Oahu. I had never been to a place like Hawaii, so my first trip to paradise was unforgettable. My time on the island was memorable but by the time I left, my heart was broken and like Tony Bennett who left his heart in San Francisco, my heart stayed on Waikiki Beach and I wondered if I would ever return to reclaim it. Fortunately, with the Lord’s help, I found strength and returned 4 years later with a peace in my heart and a new love on my arm. Hawaii is nice but it doesn’t compare to the beauty of the Garden of Eden. A garden no longer available to humanity.

Genesis 3:16-24 NKJV — To the woman He said:
“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.” Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
“Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil you shall eat of it
All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,
And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread
Till you return to the ground,
For out of it you were taken;
For dust you are,
And to dust you shall return.” And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Staying Offshore
·
For believers in Christ and those who read the Word of God we are very familiar with the first three chapters of the book of Genesis and the fall of man. We are also told about why Adam and Eve were driven out and how their lives would be. No longer walking with God in the cool of the day and returning to the dust in which they came. Never to return to the life they once knew must have been devastating to Adam and Eve. Paradise was lost and the deception of the serpent was starting to sink in.

Working the Land
·
We toil the soil before us and live our lives in the pursuit of peace and harmony but we can’t seem to find the paradise to lay our weary heads. The people of the Earth are migrating to that place that will fulfill all their heart’s desires but no matter where they roam the destination is never reached. Paradise is still elusive.
·
A Complicated Thin Line
·
The Arizona – Mexico border seems like an odd place to call paradise but for many, crossing the border into the United States is like crossing the river Jordan and entering the Promised Land.
The globalist initiative is to have a world without borders and the redistribution of a nation’s wealth to their own specialty groups and their secret offshore bank accounts. Destroying a nation’s sovereignty is their goal and if they achieve a one world society they will claim that they are greater than God and they themselves are gods. Wasn’t this tried before?

The Babbling Tower
·
Genesis 11:1-9 NKJV — Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. “Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
·
The Tower of Babel is a perfect example of why an ungodly one world government will not work. Unfortunately, it will be tried again and according to the Word of God, it will fail. Still, the globalists keep trying.
·
An Overflowing Crisis
·
We are witnessing a flood of humanity overflowing the southern U.S. border. Carrizo Springs, Donna, Roma as well as Dallas and Midland are cities in the state of Texas housing illegal immigrants in facilities not equipped to hold occupants numbering in the thousands. Policy changes implemented by the Biden administration has caused and contributed to an uncontrollable surge that has state officials up in arms.
Believing they, the migrants crossing the border, were invited to live in the land of opportunity, have made the trek to reach their paradise by any means necessary. To reach the United States has also caused the cartels, drug smugglers and human traffickers, also known as, “Coyotes” – to be involved and to take advantage of the desperation the migrants are feeling.
Their search is just another manifestation of what mankind has been searching for since the fall and expulsion from the Garden of Eden. – The search for paradise on Earth is exhausting mainly because mankind does not realize that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the way for truth, peace and eternal life.
·
John 3:16-17 NKJV — “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
·
Leaving the Sea of Turmoil
·
In these latter days people are in a need of comfort and salvation that only the Lord can provide. Government officials may say that they have a plan but for millennia we have seen their plans bloom but ultimately wither away because the Living Waters that God provides through His only begotten Son are not flowing through their lives, deeds and plans.
·
“You Shall Never Thirst”
·
John 4:10-14 NKJV — Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? “Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
·
What Jesus said to the Samaritan woman is true for all of us if we turn to Him and accept Him as Lord and Saviour.
The Word of God tells us that …many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel 4:12), but running to find a better life and “Googling” everything to find answers will give us no special favors or advantages if we do not believe and accept what the Word of God tells us in the book of John 3:16.
·
A New Day Will Arrive
·
There is a paradise waiting for us but we must turn away from our sinful ways and let Jesus come into our hearts and let the Holy Spirit guide us to that place where rest and peace abounds.
·
Revelation 2:7 NKJV — “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’
