Where Do We Stand? Series

Part 11

.

.

Revelation 16:16 NKJV — And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

.

Har Magiddo

.

Just 66 miles north of Jerusalem is a valley where heavily armed forces from all corners of the Earth will gather for a battle to end all battles. Judgement has come to th. most powerful and blasphemous economic system the world has ever known. Mystery Babylon is no more.

.

Revelation 18:21 NKJV — Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.

.

With the source that fed the belly of the beast being swiftly taken away, a stance has been taken by the Antichrist and will lead the charge to annihilate Jerusalem and the people of God. With enough firepower to destroy a hundred kingdoms, the Antichrist is determined to make whoever is responsible for the judgements, plagues, famines and torments his now lost kingdom has suffered over the seven years of his reign. The climactic clash between good and evil has arrived.

.

Forces On the Move

.

Armageddon. The prophets predicted it would happen. Bible prophecy has now become reality. The recurring theme throughout mankind’s history has been the quest to be equal or better than God. When the serpent first tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden the domino effect began. A rebellious, violent nature that led to the great flood, the tower of Babel, revolutions and world wars has led the world right back to a place that was before the flood.

.

Matthew 24:37-39 NKJV — “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

.

The Lord was very clear about the time we would be living in. Beginning at the end of the 20th Century and the collapse of the Soviet Union, nations around the world have been shuffling their political and military forces into position for a chance at the so-called “brass ring.” The United States is not exempt from this.

.

Rejecting God’s commandments and ultimately His only begotten Son Jesus as Lord and Saviour, will cause the world and its globalist agenda to collapse. This will lead to the rise of the Antichrist and the Tribulation Period. We must remember that only God knows when this exact time will be. God has provided a mediator to stand in our place and was crucified for the redemption of our souls. For over two thousand years the human race has had a grace period and time to understand the significance of the sacrifice that Jesus made and to accept Him as Lord and Saviour but the world has turned a blind eye to the gift that was so freely given by our Heavenly Father.

.

Taking Aim

.

Daniel’s 70th week also known as the Tribulation happens because of man’s refusal to obey and follow God. The judgements that are handed down during this period are given to get mankind’s attention and to repent from their wicked ways. In a more detailed study of the book of Revelation we will find that the world will not repent thus sealing their fate when the battle of Armageddon concludes.

.

Revelation 9:13-21 NKJV — Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

.

Despite all this the battle continues. Determined to wipe Jerusalem and the nation of Israel off the map, the Antichrist and his forces will face an unbeatable foe.

.

Revelation 19:11-16 NKJV — Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

.

The moment had arrived. The prophecies from the prophets and even Jesus himself was now at hand. The moment of “Truth” had come and the end of an evil empire was near. The end of the “New World Order” would be swift and decisive.

.

Revelation 19:17-21 NKJV — Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, “that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

.

The defeat will be complete and the False Prophet and the Antichrist will meet their fate immediately and eternally. The dawn of a new era will rise but what will it bring? What will be the difference in this new age?

.

In part 12 of our series “Where Do We Stand?” We will take a look at this new kingdom and the path we should consider to take if we are to reap the rewards of a new “Son-rise.”
