By Their Fruits
Matthew 7:15-20 KJV — Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
A debate is a formal discussion on a particular topic in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward and yet, our modern day society has forgotten that simple definition. Opposing views are no longer accepted and the forum has become very one sided. The liberal left has taken control of the mainstream information that we receive. The disturbing trend is the message of hate and rebellion that comes from their “bully” pulpits. Who are the left and why does it seem that their agenda which has become immoral, dishonest and unlawful is the only point of view worth paying attention to?

Revelations of sexual scandal, election fixing, obstruction of justice and association with questionable investigations have plagued the liberal left and the Democratic party since the unexpected loss by Hillary Clinton in the presidential election. Despite the embarrassing headlines and allegations the Democrats and the left still believe that they are in the “right” and the choice of the american people.
Matthew 24:9-12 KJV — Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Supported by several Democratic leaders and groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa and the Black Panthers is Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Former President Barack Obama is one of his known celebrated supporters. Farrakhan’s history of derogatory remarks toward Jews and white people resurfaced in recent weeks after it was reported that at least one organizer of the 2016 Women’s March in Washington attended a February event where the Nation of Islam leader proclaimed that “the powerful Jews are my enemy.”
Several Democratic lawmakers denounced Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic rhetoric but only after facing pressure from Republican officials and religious groups to account for their past contacts with the controversial activist. The Republican Jewish Coalition called on seven Democratic lawmakers to resign, saying they “sat down with Farrakhan for personal meetings” while in office.
The group targeted Reps. Andre Carson (D-Ind.), Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Danny Davis (D-Ill.), Al Green (D-Texas), Lee and Meeks in their calls for resignation, along with Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, over “Farrakhan ties.” As of date there has been no response from these leaders with the exception of Andre Carson (D-Ind.) who remarked, “Racism, homophobia, islamophobia, anti-Semitism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance have no place in our civil discourse.”
Denouncing the rhetoric on the surface sounds good but Rep. Carson fell short on pulling support for Farrakhan. Other issues face the left such as the continued defiance of federal law in California. Governor Jerry Brown (D) is encouraging business owners and citizens not to assist federal agents to enforce immigration law. Establishing “Sanctuary Cities” and proclaiming California as a “Sanctuary” state has proven to be a reckless policy considering the state is close to financial bankruptcy and is in desperate need of federal assistance. Defying federal law is not “doing the right thing” as the Governor would like his constituents to believe.

Anti – Semitic speech, lawlessness, immorality and dishonesty are not the traits of God and are surely not the type of leadership the heart of America would care to follow. The Lord is waiting for a nation to turn from their evil ways and return to God. We are a nation that proclaims to be proud of our diversity and cultural differences, instead, we have become a nation of bullies and elitists. We have forgotten how to debate and compromise only to force agendas that are absolute and destroy the republic we have maintained for 242 years. Pray for our nation, our leaders and all that live in this great land that we find the guidance and wisdom God provides and through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, America can be the light of the world.
Psalm 89:14-15 KJV — Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
